Project Overview
A commercial kitchen in Mohandessin, Greater Cairo. In Phase 1 we prepared the HVAC and ventilation plan and the mechanical bill of quantities dated 14 August 2026. The work covers wall-split air conditioning, exhaust and fresh air fans, a duct network insulated with glass wool and rock wool, testing and balancing, plus portable extinguishers and an automatic suppression system.
The Challenge
- Balancing kitchen extraction against fresh air supply
- Choosing suitable insulation for hot and standard ducts
- Preparing a clear BOQ that supports pricing and phased delivery

- Two exhaust fans of 4,800 and 4,350 CFM
- Two fresh air fans of 3,850 and 3,500 CFM
- Galvanised and black steel ductwork with glass wool and rock wool insulation
- System testing, adjustment and balancing
- Portable fire extinguishers and two automatic suppression systems
